(Redirected from Tiphereth)
The 10 Sefirot in the Tree of Life connected by the Path of the Flaming Sword (yellow), which indicates the order of their creation from 1 - 10.

Tiferet or Tifaret, Tifereth, Tyfereth, Tiphereth (Hebrewתפארת "beauty, splendour, glorification"), also known (by name in the Zohar) as Rachamim (Hebrewרחמים "mercy") or Shalom (Hebrewשלום "peace") is the sixth sefira on the Tree of Life of Kabbalah and forms its centre, bringing about harmony and balance. Together with Chesed (mercy) and Gevurah (austerity), it forms the middle triad of the Tree of Life, representing the soul world, called Briah in Kabbalah. Below Tiferet, the veil Paroketh (Hebrewפָּרֹ֫כֶת "curtain, veil") separates the soul world from the physical-etheric world.

Tiferet forms the sixth path of the 32 paths of wisdom and stands for the intelligence of the separating influence.

Tiferet is also the centre of the six inner sefirot, whose vessels were destroyed in the so-called breaking of the vessels (shevirat ha-kelim) in the course of the event of creation, and then together they were transformed into the Partzuf ("face") Zeir Anpin (Hebrewזעיר אנפין "the short-tempered, impatient"). According to the Kabbalists, the six inner sefirot also represent the six days of creation.
