Paranirvana plane
From AnthroWiki
(Redirected from Parinirvana)
The parinirvana plane or paranirvana plane (from Sanskrit परि pari "all around, in the circumference; strong, fierce" and निर्वाण nirvāṇa "extinction" or literally "blown away") is one of the highest spiritual world planes and lies directly above the nirvana plane. If one puts oneself on the parinirvana plane in waking dreaming, one realises that here everything liquid has its true life:
„Second comes the liquid, the water. If one puts oneself in the sea in the dream state, as if one were the sea itself, then one puts oneself on the Parinirvana plane with the life of the liquid. Through this procedure one knows something of the different planes.“ (Lit.:GA 93a, p. 45)
