This volume contains lectures on social threefolding held in Switzerland and Germany from the years 1919 to 1921, which were previously missing from the corresponding section of the Complete Edition (GA 328-341). In addition, two of Rudolf Steiner's authored lectures, the manuscripts of which were long considered lost and only came to the Rudolf Steiner Archives in 2008. The lectures published here for the first time come from different phases of the Threefolding Movement. They make it possible to follow the stony path which, after a foundation phase, led to intensive influence on political debates and, after the failure of the works council movement and the increasing attacks on anthroposophy, turned more to the implementation of concrete economic initiatives. An appendix rich in documents, consisting of newspaper articles and advertisements, a chronology, facsimiles and notebook entries, completes the edition, which fills an important gap in the complete edition and thus enables a deeper study of the history of this still future-oriented impulse.
