Template:See also/doc

This template is integrated many times. If you know exactly what the effects are, you can edit it. In most cases, however, it makes sense to first vote on change requests on Template Discussion.

This template is used to refer to alternative articles that describe a sub-aspect from a different perspective, similar to the Template:Main. It should be placed at the beginning of the section whose content is also dealt with in another article. Of course, care should be taken to avoid redundancy, but sometimes the same topic is described in another article with a different focus.

The template is used as follows:

This is formatted as follows:

Alternatively, it can be used for up to three articles:

This is formatted as follows:

There is also the option to customise the link text. This can be used to refer to subsections.

This is formatted as follows:

Blank lines before or after the template inclusion are optional, but the template should always be on its own line.

The link will not appear if the corresponding target article does not exist.
