			The spiritual disciples initiated by Titurel were all called "Parzival" in a certain sense. In these Gothic Mysteries, as Rudolf Steiner also calls them, the esoteric knowledge of the Mysteries of the Bread and Blood of Christ was to be preserved, which had already been largely lost externally in the 4th century AD and threatened to disappear finally in the early 8th century under the onslaught of Arabism advancing into Spain.
