This volume brings together the lectures on the subject of death and immortality which Steiner gave between 1910 and 1914 and which complement the Berlin lectures contained in volumes GA 60-63. Even though the transcripts are of varying quality, they show how Rudolf Steiner addresses the same subject from ever new angles and how each lecture forms a self-contained train of thought. The freshness of the approaches, without presuppositions, gives an idea of how the audience was touched by a voice that introduced them to spiritual ways of looking at things, away from ideological dogmas. For this reason, the reading is still very enriching and inspiring today.
