From 1897 to 1900 Rudolf Steiner was publisher and editor of the "Magazin für Litteratur". By taking on this activity, he fully immersed himself in the cultural life of his time. He published on contemporary writers, provided space for their artistic views and also gave his input on issues of current interest at the time. The present volume contains the essays and reviews on literary and literary-scientific topics that Rudolf Steiner wrote for the "Magazin" from 1884 to 1902, but also for other periodicals.
