'''Curative eurythmy''' is a special form of therapy from [[anthroposophic medicine]], which has been developed since 1921 by [[Rudolf Steiner]] with the collaboration of [[Ita Wegman]] from the movement forms of [[eurythmy]]. It is an individual therapy which is guided by anthroposophical therapists.

Within the framework of anthroposophically extended medicine, eurythmy therapy is used for acute, chronic or degenerative diseases of the nervous system, the cardiovascular system, the metabolic system and the musculoskeletal system. Other areas of application are child development disorders and disabilities as well as psychosomatics and psychiatry.

In eurythmy therapy, an illness is regarded as a disturbance of the physical, mental and spiritual levels of the human being. Targeted movement exercises are intended to bring the disturbed areas back into harmonious balance. The eurythmy therapy movements are aimed at influencing the patient's sensations from the outside in, i.e. in the opposite direction to the process of human emotions, in which sensations are expressed from the inside out through facial expressions and gestures. The background is a holistic anthroposophical view of the human being, according to which physical illnesses usually have mental causes and mental disorders can be organically caused.
