Primordial Flood

The primordial flood(s), the primordial waters, the primordial sea or the primordial ocean are an imaginative picture in mythology and in the religious traditions of many peoples for the chaotically wildly moving soul world at the beginning of creation. It forms the astral primordial matter from which the created world is formed. The outer sensual-physical world only condenses from this astral condition of form much later.
